History:

In 2006, ALL THEM CHOPS BAND (ATC) was born after the leader of the former Burnt-Hills Community Band left the area, leaving his library of music with a former band member.  This musical archive became the beginnings of the Big Band materials that form the underpinnings of the musical performances heard by many past audiences of ALL THEM CHOPS.

Supporter of the Arts, Golub Corporation, agreed to allow the band to use the Price Chopper community room for rehearsals, leading the band to grow, advertise for more members and for venues for performances.  Members from other community bands expressed interest in participating and so the band expanded.  

Goals for ALL THEM CHOPS are:

• Have fun playing the music we love.
• Spread the music to those that cannot or do not get to hear Big Band music.
• Read and play new arrangements and styles of Big Band music.
